DC is taking over the Standard Downtown LA during Summer X Games 2008. That’s right. All 12 floors of it. Basement to ceiling. The 200-plus rooms, suites and meeting rooms of the swanky hotel will be DC’s from Thursday, July 31 through Sunday, August 3. The Gold Standard 2008 is about having the ultimate experience as the biggest action sports event in the world happens just down the street at The Home Depot Center and the STAPLES Center.

The Gold Standard 2008 is sponsored by Monster Energy Drink, and presented by Fuel TV and Complex Magazine. DC and Monster Energy will host parties each night in celebration of the X Games. Other Gold Standard 2008 specialties include the Athlete Lounge for team riders to chill in, and the Media and Hospitality Room for media and VIPs to get some R&R.
